Chapter 5 - Scales in Octaves
A scale in octaves is one in which one hand plays in octaves. If both hands play octaves together in unison, this is normally described as a scale in double octaves. The fingering for non-legato scales in octaves is very straightforward, as there are only two main fingerings.
