Looping
Looping is a way of managing repetitions without interrupting the rhythmic flow – without actually stopping the pulse. When we repeat, we count the rests at the end of the phrase as well as any that we might find at the start. You’ll notice there are repeat signs in all the small phrase sections that follow. Observe them carefully. Zigzagging (Variation on Separate Hands) Zigzag practice really keeps you on your toes!
