Haydn: Sonata in C, Hob.XVI:35 In this Sonata by Haydn we can use blocking techniques to serve a technical end. Blocking in the following different ways helps us to organise the hand and learn the triplet patterns more thoroughly. Use those that help you, and leave out those that don’t (the point here is to simplify, not to complicate!).
