La donna è mobile (“woman is fickle”) is a tenor aria from Act 3 of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Rigoletto. After the premiere of the opera in 1851, this tune caught on immediately and became incredibly popular with the public. In more recent times the tune has been used as a chant by many British football supporters, and also appears on the soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto III.
