Account Management Help
The "Edit My Account" page is accessed via the "My Account" button on the rop right hand side of the menu bar or using this link. This page displays the details of your account and provides links for managing email preferences, payment methods and subscriptions:

Change my email address
Enter your new email address in the field which displays your current address and click "Update". Please note that your will need to confirm your new email address by clicking on a confirmation link in an email we will send you after you’ve changed your email to access any eBooks that you might own. If you do not receive an email from us to confirm your new address then please check your spam / junk mail folders (or “Clutter” in Microsoft Outlook). You can request a new confirmation email by clicking on the link under "Account status & preferences".
Change my password
Enter your new password (at least eight characters) in the "password" and "password confirmation" fields then click "update". Your will then be able to use your new password next time you log-in.
Reset my password (if you've forgotten it)
If you’ve forgotten your password, then you can reset it here by requesting a reset email. Please note that you will need to enter the email address associated with your account in order to request a reset. If the email address is correct but you haven’t received the password reset email, then please check your spam or junk mail folders before attempting to send an additional reset email.
Confirm my email address
On signing up or after changing your email address we will send an email with a confirmation link to the address provided in order to confirm that it is correct. You can confirm your email address by clicking on this link. If you do not receive an email from us to confirm your new address then please check your spam / junk mail folders (or “Clutter” in Microsoft Outlook). You can request a new confirmation email by clicking on the link under "Account status & preferences".
You can edit your preferences regarding which emails you receive from us using the link under "Account status & preferences". Alternatively you can also use this link to manage your email preferences or to send an "Update Profile" email to yourself. This email will provide you with a link to a form where you can manage your subscription preferences.
You can unsubscribe or manage your preferences regarding which emails you would like to receive from us at any stage by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" or on the "Update Subscription Preferences" link in the footer of the emails we send you. A listing of our different newsletters is available below.
If you are an Online Academy subscriber then you can also subscribe to our newsletters or manage your subscriptions via the email preferences page.
Tips - If you would like to make sure that you receive our emails then we suggest clicking on the "Add to my address book" link in the footer of any of the emails we send you or add us to your trusted senders list.
Our mailing lists
- Practising the Piano - Blog posts (weekly) and occasional newsletters with general announcements, news and special offers pertaining to www.practisingthepiano.com. If you originally subscribed to our blog RSS feed then you will need to sign-up for this list in order to continue receiving updates as we will be discontinuing the older feed.
- Content updates - Notifications of new content and resources on the Online Academy (frequency varies from once every 1 - 4 weeks). If you are an Online Academy subscriber or have a free account then you will need to sign-up for this list in order to continue receiving these notifications.
- Graham Fitch - Emails with occasional updates regarding workshops and events and general news from Graham. If you originally signed-up to Graham's mailing list then you will need to sign-up for this list in order to continue receiving Graham's emails.
- Informance newsletter - Occasional emails regarding new products, eBooks and special offers (infrequent emails every 1 - 3 months).
Manage payment methods
Update card details or use a different card
You can change the card associated with your subscription using the link provided under "Payment details". Enter the details of the card you wish to use and click "Update card". Depending on your card issuer, you may be asked to complete an additional validation step via 3D secure. If this is required then you will be automatically taken to a page which will load a pop-up from your card issuer which can be used to complete the validation step.
Delete my account
You can delete your account at any time by clicking on the "Delete my account" button or by emailing us. Please note that this option will remove all of your account data, including any publications that you have purchased. If you would rather keep your account and cancel your subscription then please use the "Manage" option under "Subscriptions".
