Finding Your Ideal Hand Position
Practice Notes Technique tips: Aim to start each practice session with a good, natural hand position. Swing your relaxed hands towards the keyboard or let your hand float upwards like a 'puppet on a string'. Keep a fairly straight line between the back of your hand and forearm. This wrist position will become the midpoint of your movement. Aim to keep your wrist flexible as you practise. Keep your forearm mostly in line with your third finger.
