They’re both honourable aims and they are completely complementary. If you absorb all the information in these pages and you try all the practical activities, you should end up with lots of new skills that will help you with GCSE music, A-level music and / or the Grade 8 theory exam.
Unlike other theory resources, I have included a video summary and a practical activity for each chapter.
